Of all the places to be seen donning what someone else already wore, our Lap Trinh Cho Trai Tim/Programming the Heart’s lead actress, Quynh Nga, and Miss Vietnam runner-up 2000 turned famous MC, Ngoc Oanh, were both unfortunate enough to have been spotted at the most important annual red carpeted event with recycled looks.

While the form fitting teal number complimented Quynh Nga’s curves much better than it did Quach An An‘s (top left), Ngoc Oanh’s scaly purple piece also did not look as “fishy” as it previously did on model (& Vinh Thuy‘s rumored girlfriend) Thu Hang (bottom left).

Regardless, neither are what I would consider ‘red carpet’ appropriate, so for the record, ladies, let’s leave the sequins home.

Here are some more photos from the Golden Kites held last Sunday (March 14) at the Friendship Palace in Hanoi.

For such a petite figure standing at about 1m59 (5 ft 2-ish), Quynh Nga is quite the well-endowed little person.

Thanh Hang’s musical, Nhung Nu Hon Ruc Ro, might not have received any particular awards, but Best Dressed goes to “Mamacita in Pink”, hands down.

Kathy Uyen must’ve been so torn between her 2 favorite dresses that she finally had to tell her stylist to stitch both together. Clever.

Awww, Binh Minh (Passport to Love) & the wifey match!
