The Keo Ngot/ Sweet Candy singer is hospitalized due to knee injuries sustained in a motor accident months prior.

At the time of the accident, the injuries appeared to be nothing more than minor scratches. Thuy brushed it off and continued with her busy touring/filming schedule. However, she began to experience increasing pain in the left knee after each dance performances. After visiting a specialist at the local trauma center, it was discovered that the singer really suffered from torn knee ligaments and must undergo surgery.

Although the surgery was a success, Thuy will need 2 months of bed rest. The release of her upcoming Candy Vol. 4 album, unfortunately, have been pushed back to a much later date.

We wish her a speedy recovery.
