The 5-day long Vietnam International Film Festival (VNIFF), announced in Pusan on October 12, finally wrapped up last night at the National Convention Center in southern Hanoi.


Recently, in the hectic midst of press releases and foreign fan meetings for the Pusan International Film Festival in Korea, the crew representing Vietnamese film feature, Canh Dong Bat Tan/The Endless Field (English name Floating Lives) , had to endlessly answer questions and strike poses for the cameras. Of all the places to be seen donning what someone else already wore, our Lap Trinh Cho Trai Tim/Programming the Heart’s lead actress, Quynh Nga, and Miss Vietnam runner-up 2000 turned famous MC, Ngoc Oanh, were both unfortunate enough to have been spotted at the most important annual red carpeted event with recycled looks.



After wowing international film festival critics and audiences alike, director Bui Thac Chuyen’s “Choi Voi/Adrift” will finally be screened in Vietnamese cinemas beginning November 13. (more…)
