Thu Minh channels Marilyn Monroe

… And pulled a Janet! ^-^

During the recent music gala called “Em Dep Nhat Dem Nay/ You Are Most Beautiful Tonight”, Thu Minh shocked audiences with her appearence on stage as Marilyn Monroe, donning platinum blond hair and the familiar 1940s-50s white dress.  The audience applauded fanatically through her songs not realizing that the singer was suffering a wardrobe malfunction!

But no worries; it was nothing of the “peep-show” sort. Apparently the heel from one of her shoes had pierced the stage during one of her performances and got stuck (EEK!). The show must go on, and indeed it did as Thu Minh continued with the program barefooted as if nothing had happened.

Thu Minh says that after “Em Dep Nhat Dem Nay,” she and My Le will return to the stage for Diva’s Night with the “Top Hits Collection” theme on September 9 -10.
