The woman might not be able to sing, but she was definitely born to kick butt.
In an update by Zing, it was revealed that the model turned actress is now in China for the new Chinese-VietNamese collaboration project: Biệt đội Ưng Biển/The Secret Marines(?).
After the nationwide airing of The Rebel on China’s CCTV6 channel, Van’s kickass moves managed to catch the eye of the film’s director who eventually cast her as one of the 2 leading characters alongside Mu Feng Bin (Princess Returning Pearl 2).
Based on the real story of a pirated Marine warship along the borders of China and VietNam, Van will be playing a female international cop in charge of maritime securities. This action-police movie will also feature Law Ka Ying, Sam Lee (Hong Kong), and Huang An (Taiwan).
Biet Doi Ung Bien is to commemorate the 60th anniversary of VietNam and China’s business ties.

I agree she really is a good actress. Better than being a singer that for sure.
