Except…not really.
Yesterday morning on the 29th, VN Idol 09 Quốc Thiên, Trương Quỳnh Anh, Khổng Tú Quỳnh, Ngô Thiên, and Khởi My all led their fanclubs to participate in a winter themed fundraiser called “Giáng sinh 5 xu – Ấm áp tình người/5 Cents Christmas – The Warmth of Human Kindness(?)” organized by charity group Những Ước Mơ Xanh/Blue Dreams and movie company Galaxy Cinema.
Stars, along with the members of their FCs, each received a clay piggy bank to decorate and afterward bring home to raise (by feeding it change). On December 20th, everyone will once again gather to contribute their extra savings which will help buy jackets, foods, books, etc for the less fortunate students in the regions of Soc Bambo, Bảo Lộc, & Đắc Nông.
Cute idea, I’d say.

Mỗi ca sĩ và các thành viên trong FC đã nhận một chú heo đất dễ thương màu trắng từ ban tổ chức. Mọi người đã tô vẽ làm đẹp cho con heo đất theo sở thích của mình. Sau đó mọi người sẽ mang heo về nhà nuôi, bỏ những số tiền tiết kiệm mỗi ngày vào heo đất. Đến ngày 20/12 tất cả sẽ mang heo đến Galaxy Nguyễn Du và tự tay đập heo đất lấy ra số tiền đã tiết kiệm đóng góp vào quỹ từ thiện. Số tiền thu được sẽ mua những chiếc khăn ấm, áo ấm, lương thực, sách vở cho những em học sinh nghèo vùng cao tại Soc Bambo, Bảo Lộc, Đắc Nông.
