Being the big entertainment company on Vpop campus, Music Faces Ent. proves to us that besides churning out individual artists and idols, collectively, they are one spankin’ happy family. Happy, talented, successful, famous family. And who better to promote ‘family lovin’ than the ideal family of Father Duc Tri and Co.?

Check out the new family collab called “Chung Mot Nha/One Family” aka “Soul Nation Theme Song”.

It appears that Halloween traditions have almost completely crossed over into Vietnamese territory as more and more people are celebrating this genius free-candy?-hell-yea! day. Even Music Faces artists, rocker Anh Khoa and rapper Suboi, are switching it up this year. Decked in full Joker  and Corpse Bride raiment, these two are sure to creep the  living constipation out of the neighboring kids. Poor things.

As for the quality of their costumes, I’d say both does a pretty convincing job of channeling their respective characters. I’m spooked. Now to copy Suboi’s outfit for tonight…*evil chuckle*. Happy Halloween everyone!

The MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) campaign today announced the dates of its nationwide  concert tour to fight human trafficking in VietNam. The tour will kick off March 27 with “MTV EXIT Live in Hanoi”, a massive free concert at My Dinh Stadium featuring top local artists such as Ha Anh Tuan, Pham Anh Khoa, Phuong Vy and recently just revealed, Noo Phuoc Thinh. Korean boyband Super Junior and Australian pop star Kate Miller-Heidke will also participate in the Hanoi concert.

David Archuleta and Backstreet Boys, however, will NOT be joining the MTV EXIT Live in Vietnam concert tour contrary to rumors. (more…)

The private wedding, which took place on Sunday Jan 24, wrapped up with a semi-grand reception at the Park Hyatt (HCMC) banquet room the next day. The unfamiliar bride named Ngoc Anh (1984), an overseas VietNamese currently living in Dalat and working for an event organizing company, is reported to have known Duc Tri for 3 years now.

Because the whole event was never publicly announced, fans were stoked to see Duc Tri don a royal blue Ao Dai complete with a Khan Dong (the crown-like headgear made from silk brocade) when pictures surfaced the internet.

The 30/40?-something-year-old ex-AC&M member was previously spotted at Pham Anh Khoa‘s grand “We Will PAK You” liveshow on Oct. 24. Not only did the father-of-2(?) balladeer get front row tickets to see some of  his favorite rockers live in concert, Bach was also apparently all hyped up and totally rocking it out to the songs along with the rest of the mostly teen-ish crowd.

Tran Thu Do‘s Prince Sam (actor Hua Vi Van) was also another familiar face spotted amongst the huge crowd. Check out some pictures and fancams from the show below: (more…)
