After last last week‘s semi-faulty press release, the anticipated romantic comedy “De Mai Tinh” was officially launched on Wednesday (April 21) at the White Palace. With the attendance of more than 1000 people including Dustin Nguyễn, Kathy Uyên, Thái Hòa, Johnny Trí Nguyễn, Ngô Thanh Vân, Tăng Thanh Hà, Hứa Vỹ Văn, Hà Anh, Đinh Ngọc Diệp, Tuyết Ngọc, Thảo Trang, Quang Tuyến, Vân Anh, Trần Bảo Sơn… this premiere proved itself to be a very successful debut event for rookie company Early Risers.

Not only was Megastar packed to the max with nearly 100 celebrities in attendance, fans also flooded the Paragon (large lounge area of the theatre) & entrance to catch a glimpse of their stars. And of course along with anything involving famous people and large scale events, a mob of reporters would surely follow suit. The event could, overall, be easily remembered as one of the largest (and star-studded) movie premiere in the history of V-showbiz.

The most anticipated fashion show of the year – the 8th annual Dep Fashion Show (organized by Dep magazine, Le Media and LeBros.)– previously took place in HCM City on September 26. But of course I am referring to her waist. For those of you going “wtf?” let me first familiarize you with the term that seems to be extra popular in VietNam these days. Vong 1, 2, & 3, meaning girths 1, 2, & 3, are basically the 3 main measurements of any human body; Vong 1 being chest, vong 2 being waist, & vong 3 being hips. Currently, the country has practically been holding famous supermodel Ha Anh‘s all 3 vongs as our female’s ideal measurements, and honestly, I concur. Nothing but a glimpse of the woman’s itty bitty vong 2 could actually get one all inspired to finally spend some quality time with that treadmill.

After more than a month of being directly under medical care, KTQ seems to have finally been discharged and was previously spotted at the recent “Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince” premiere in VietNam (July 22). Glad to see that she’s on the healthy road again:
