Vietnam’s own version of the UK-originated TV series, Dancing with the Stars, in which celebrities and professional dancers are paired up and pitted against each other in dancing competitions, has officially hit local airwaves this month. (more…)

Last week, Bang Di and Dai Nhan’s mysterious “29” song was officially made public.

While fans anticipated all month for a something promising, the hype only ended in disappointment.

29” is creatively short for “Tonight” which in actuality is only an overly auto-tuned cover of Radio Band’s one and only release “Dem/Night” composed by OnlyC.

We have no idea how people came up with this word nor what it’s supposed to be short for but we’re guessing it’s something along the lines of an Earth-friendly power ranger (out to save the world and whatnot).

But this year’s HTV awards yielded just too many unpleasant sights…

Case in Point: Exhibit A

Comedian Tan Beo thought it’d be cute to live up to his name (Beo = panther…which is almost like a leopard…which..well they’re all cats). Looking as if he belonged more at the zoo than the red carpet, Beo’s horrendous fashion statement definitely claimed his status as Thanh Hang‘s proud successor.
